Interior Illustrations...found!

Hello! Hello! Long-time no posts. My hands were full but I'm back with some pretty cool interior illustrations  I stumbled upon while doing a much-needed desktop cleanup. I did these a while back for Emirates Home magazine for their decorating tips feature. Bright and colourful with a sprinkle of humor (playful cat trying to hunt down birdie, its dinner) More coming your way!

Written Portraits

This year, CPNB (Collective Promotion Dutch Literature) has chosen to feature (auto) biographies for the Dutch Book Week which it organizes annually to promote Dutch literature. So 'Written Portraits' was the chosen theme and a series of posters were created for the advertising campaign. Created by Van Wanten Etcetera and artwork by Souverein. Original book pages were used for the text inside too. How amazing.

I Miss Paris

As always, everytime I de-clutter I have to find a long lost something. Today I found these pretty Paris postcards and other bits I've kept from my first Paris trip (I collect my tickets as souvenirs). Went through the holiday photos and now in a nostalgic mood... So I made a sketch! A Marie Antoinette inspired fashion illustration was the result...Miss you, Love you, Want you...Paris *SIGH*..

My Sweet Valentine

Lately I've been in a baking mood making all sorts of desserts. In one week I made a carrot cake, an apple tart and chocolate banana brownies. What's next? A strawberry tart that's long overdue. So I guess it was only natural of me to dream of dessert while designing these valentine posters. Cheesy love quotes ...what better way to express my love for all that is sweet...

Sketching Portraits

It has been a while since I last posted! It's been quite busy at my end but all good. Here's a portrait sketch I did not too long ago. Just wanted to focus on the features and bring about that strong, hidden expression through the eyes. I really like this one, it's definitely one of my favourites!
